Marketing Success Specialist/Inside Sales Rep

Job Responsibilities

Summary:


SIRC is looking for ambitious and driven candidates with previous B2B sales experience to join our vibrant, friendly and fast paced Inside Sales team based at our DC office (remote working during Covid restrictions).


Your responsibilities will be to promote manufacturer solutions to Federal Government Agencies and educate them about emerging technologies to generate new customers through a variety of marketing methods. This will include using SIRC’s marketing tools to create campaigns and manage prospective customers.


Day-to-day you’ll be:


  • Sharing your passion for information technology especially cyber security while making outbound calls and setting appointments
  • Researching and contacting decision makers
  • Providing regular metrics and reports
  • Following up on prospects and booking meetings
  • Content Writing/Posting: Website updates, blog posts, managing social media accounts

Job Qualifications

You’ll likely have:

 

  • A minimum of 6 months’ previous experience of cold calling outbound sales – showing us your enthusiasm and drive for a career in sales
  • A Bachelor's degree from a leading university is highly preferred
  • Clear communication skills, able to be compelling with a variety of individuals
  • Resilience and tenacity – you will be able to bounce back and carry on

 

 

Specific Skills

  • Proven inside sales/marketing experience.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Content Writing (social media posts, blogs, etc.)
  • Strong phone presence and experience in cold calling.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to resolve critical problems.
